You have just received the 1st edition of Tel-Tek Newsletter. Tel-Teks focus is Efficient Production Processes for a Climate Friendly Future. We hope you find it exciting and useful to read and learn from our R&D activities! Our intention is to send out our Newsletter at least four times a year.

During Tekna's "Kursdager" in Trondheim Tel-Tek will be responsible for two courses in Smart Manufacturing.

Tel-Tek Academy comprises all courses, seminars, workshops and conferences arranged by Tel-Tek, or arranged in cooperation with others.

The LOWCAP (Low Carbon Regions in the North Sea Cluster Project) Midterm Conference will be arranged in Porsgrunn 29th to 31st January.

As part of the conference  there will be a workshop 31.01. with focus on sustainable energy. We hope this will  be of interest to many of you and invite you to join the LOWCAP conference and the workshop.

Every second year the Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies conference is arranged by IEA Greenhouse Gas Programme and co-sponsors. This year’s event (GHGT11) was in Kyoto, Japan from 18th – 22nd November.

Dag O. Oppen Berntsen, regional chief of  Telemark -The Research Council of Norway, writes about the initiative of  “Oslofjordsfondet” on Smart Manufacturing in this article including the cooperation between the University of Bergen, industrial partners and Smart Manufacturing at Tel-Tek.

Sammenslåingen av forskningsinstituttene Tel-Tek og SINTEF skal styrke industrien og innovasjonstakten i Telemark.

Forslag til teknologiske løsninger som vil kutte CO2-utslipp betydelig i Grenland og fem andre europeiske industriregioner, skal nå utarbeides som ledd i nylig oppstartet felleseuropeisk forskningsprosjekt.
