Chameera took his bachelor degree in Chemical & Process Engineering from University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka, and completed his master degree in Process Technology at Telemark University College (TUC), Norway in year 2009. Then he started to work as a researcher in TUC on CCS and oil & gas related projects. In late 2010 he joined with Tel-Tek and continued to work on CCS related topics. MEA based post combustion CO2 capture was his main working area until he started to work on solid based post combustion CO2 capture in August 2013 together with his PhD studies. Now he is doing full time work on his PhD work, mainly with Process simulations (solid) with Aspen Plus, CFD simulations with Barracuda/Fluent, and some experimental work based on fluidization.
