Klaus Schöffel has throughout his professional career been working with industrial research and development. He has a working background from Norsk Hydro’s corporation Research Centre, where he among other rolles had overall responsibility for Catalysis and New Energy research. During his time in Norske Skog he held positions as Vice president corporate energy and CEO of Norske Skog’s biofuel company Xynergo. As Vice president Technology in Gassnova SF he was responsible for the administration of the governmental CLIMIT fund for R&D of CCS technology. Before joining Tel-Tek, Klaus Schöffel held a CEO position at the technical research institute Teknova AS. He has his PhD from Freie Universität in theoretical chemistry.
